Up until a few years ago I didn't wear watches, I hadn't had the need to. But when I started my new job accurate time keeping was necessary and now I feel like I have lost a limb if I am without my watch.
When Justine from Jord contacted me about collaborating with them I jumped at the opportunity.
Jord are slightly different to your average watch. Their niche is that they specialise in 'Wood Watches'. With over eight different types of wood to choose from and ten unique series they really have something for everyone. It is clear to me that Jord spend quality time when crafting their watches. Each watch is sized to order, hand finished and treated with tung oils. The packaging that the watch comes in again is really unique and highlights their niche of the wood watch. Lastly the companies customer care team are extremely helpful.
The watch I chose was from the 'Fieldcrest' series. I chose 'Dark Sandalwood'. This particular series and colour stood out to me because I felt like this would suit me and my style. There were three other type of wood available in this series. 'Green Sandalwood', 'Maple' and 'Zebrawood & Maple'. This watch is perfect for any season and any outfit. I have worn it throughout my time in Australia, and it has lasted me very well.
Since my purchase I have noticed that they have produced a new range called 'Frankie' I really love the large face and the modern minimalistic features.
I also like the 'Sawyer' series for Men. I love the detail of the display on the face as it shows minutes, seconds and the date. The design itself is very masculine.
Travelling around made it difficult for Justine to contact me and I would like the especially thank her for her patience. This is just another example illustrating the impeccable customer service Jord have.
